Chemical Peels

White Pearl Medical Spa is excited to offer the following peels:

• Glycolic Peel 20%. This mild peel uses glycolic acid to exfoliate the upper layer of the skin. It helps reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven pigmentation, resulting in smoother and more radiant-looking skin. The glycolic peel 20% is best for patients with skin levels 1-4 on the Fitzpatrick scale, younger acne, and men with thicker skin and pigmentation.
• Lactic Peel 40%. The Lactic Peel is a mild peel that utilizes lactic acid to exfoliate and moisturize the skin. It effectively improves the skin texture, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and brightens dull skin. This peel is recommended for sensitive or dry skin types and is suitable for patients on the Fitzpatrick scale of 1-6.
• TCA 10%. The TCA 10% is a medium-strength peel that uses trichloroacetic acid (TCA) to remove the top layer of skin. It helps improve skin texture, reduce pigmentation concerns and acne scarring, and stimulate collagen production for firmer, youthful-looking skin.
• TCA 20%. The TCA 20% is a stronger version of the TCA 10% peel, with a higher concentration of trichloroacetic acid. It provides dramatic results and suits those with deeper wrinkles and sun damage.
• Jessner’s Peel. The Jessner’s Peel consists of a combination of lactic acid, salicylic acid, and resorcinol. It is a strong peel that improves the skin’s texture, reduces hyperpigmentation, scarring, and acne, and minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This peel is recommended for those with acne-prone or oily skin.

This treatment targets dullness, dehydrated skin, dryness, and mild skin discoloration. There are several steps involved in this treatment:

• Precleanse with a hyaluronic honey cleanser
• Cleanse with peppermint salicylic cleanser
• Pretreat with Nutri-Prep solution
• Peel with Hydra-20
• Neutralize with Vitamin C Nutri-later
• A refreshing cooling masque
• Optional addition of peel-enhancing retinol drops
• Calming zinc spray
• Treatment with Omega 6 healing cream and biomimetic mist

Patients are also sent home with the Truth Treatments Home Post Peel Care System.

The Forte 5D Nutri-PeelType: Mandelic Azelaic Peel is a strong, specialized peel that targets acne, blemished, and hyperpigmented skin. It effectively reduces and minimizes the recurrence of acne and acne rosacea. The combination of Mandelic and Azelaic acid kills acne-causing bacteria and normalizes sebum production, decreasing hyperpigmentation and discoloration. The treatment is effective throughout the entire life cycle of a blemish and minimizes the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It is also very effective for addressing melasma and sun damage.
